These images are apart of a larger series called Saint Petersburg Dreams. Saint Petersburg was my home before I moved to London and continues to be my inspiration source; this is where I started my creative journey as an image maker. Saint Petersburg Dreams series was created during the summer of 2007 while visiting Northern Venice * after a long time away. This series captures how I saw the city, how it touched me; the way my dreams came back to me.

* Northern Venice is a moniker for Saint Petersburg resulting from the perfect street planning of the city--every 3 prospects/streets of Saint Petersburg always end up by a church or a square.

Water and sky is one of the strongest images i've got of that city. St Pete's wacky skyline of domes and steeples and canals that ring around the center. This photo really sums up some of what I saw there. Love to moody colours too.

This is reminds me of one of those russian fairy tales that i read when i was little!
Something to do with a prince chasing a firebird.
But this feels modern too.
It also reminds me of opium poppies!
