How to use the referral link
How can you get art for free or at heavily discounted prices? Any time you refer a customer to us, you are awarded 10% of the sales revenue as Reward Points. First, you must create an account. Then, there are now THREE different ways to refer your friends:
- NEW: Use the
Share on Facebook link at the bottom of every product page (you must be logged in when you click the facebook link for us to track your referrals). - Use Tell a Friend (can be found on the right-hand menu and on the product pages (again, you must be logged in when you use either of these so we can track your referrals).
- Email your Personal Referral Link to your contacts.
Every user who creates a profile gets a Personal Referral Link that looks like
http://www.gimmeart.net/referral/nnnnnnnn
nnnnnnnn is the code we use to identify you. You can find this link on your account page (click "My account" which appears on the right hand menu whenever you are logged in). If someone clicks on this link, we know that you referred her. When she buys, you will be awarded Store Credit!
If you Tell a Friend, your Personal Referral Link is automatically included, as long as you are logged into your account. You don't have to do anything special.
Of course, you can also post your Personal Referral Link on myspace, facebook, your blog, or anywhere else... and start earning credits right away.
