Referral Program
If you are the first to tell someone about Gimme Art, and the same someone buys something from Gimme Art in the future, you will receive 10% of the sales price to be applied towards future purchases on Gimme Art after the following rules:
- The Gimme Art affiliate program will award you 10% of the sales price (to be applied towards future purchases on Gimme Art) made by a customer where you were the original referer. Original referer means that you were the first person to refer the customer to Gimme Art.
- You must direct visitors to Gimme Art using either your personal referral link (on your "My Account" page), the "Send a postcard" link in the navigation menu, or the "Forward this page to a friend" form found on most of the Gimme Art pages. When using the "Send a postcard" or "Forward..." functionality, you must make sure you are logged in so your personal tracking code is included automatically in the email. The personal referral link can be copied and pasted into emails, blogs, myspace pages etc.
- Almost all internet users today have cookies enabled. When referred, the recipient/visitor must have cookies enabled so we are able to award you points for the referral. If the referral clears the cookies on his/her computer after you refer him/her, but before signing up as a member of the site, we will no longer be able to track the referral.
- A purchase must be made within 12 months after the referal was made.
- You cannot refer yourself or any person in your household.
