Until what age should a pupil wear a plastic smock (apron with arms) for Arts And Crafts at school?
There is no age limit on practicality – keeping clean, health and safety, laundry work……. the apron (with or without sleeves) is a practical piece of clothing and serves no other purpose than to protect the wearer from the ill effects of the activities they are undertaking … if the potential wearer has such huge and strong objections to the wearing of an apron, then let them take full responsibility for the consequences (I’m particularly thinking of all the washing and ironing that might be involved!…..)
