How do I place a lot of meaningful art pieces around a town to make a difference?
I want to distribute a lot of Paintings around town in secret…I want the town to see and feel the chain of love. How would I go about doing this to where people will make the connections?
Do your research on impactful comtemporary artists of the past. This might help your art as well as give you a direction of where you might want to go with your idea. Also read up on the laws of vandalism in your town. While graffiti is art and art can be beautiful and inspiring, breaking the law kind of down plays the whole message.
Check out the movie, “Exit through the gift shop.” It has an interesting take not only how powerful art can be, but how individual artists can make a big statement. Good luck with whatever you do, but remember, it’s not always about getting everyone to change- but about setting an example that others can follow.
